History

Esprit was created in 2007 by a group of families who sought a community support program for their adult sons and daughters with disabilities to develop and maintain their maximum abilities for independent living.  They envisioned a program that would provide security for parents, affordable individualized services, safety for their sons and daughters living in community housing, and a program of social opportunities to prevent isolation.  Esprit began this program of support services and social programming at the beginning of 2008.  

Today

Our members reside in community housing of their choice. Esprit assists with locating rental or purchased housing as requested. Individualized support services, coupled with community resource coordination, public benefits assistance, a large social, recreational calendar of events and performing arts program allows Esprit to offer a full-service option for individualized supported independence.
